Antholz. A paradise for mountain bikers!
With the bike over sticks and stones... Antholz and the Valle di Pusteria have lots of opportunities for every level of fitness on the bike. Antholz is great, if you want to explore lonley trails in forrests, with the view on the Rieserferner group. If you want to see the Dolomites, there are various kinds of panoramic trails, outsides the valley.
The Johanneshof offers bikers the needed service, that you can discover Southtyrol on bike:
- Individual bike tours: Plan a tour with the help of our expertise and bike maps
- Bike storage area with safe storage for bikes, shoes, and helmets
- Hotline: You can call us for help. In case of emergency, we simply pick up you and your bike
- Overnight laundry service for your biking outfit (for an extra fee)
E-bike rental
Are you interessted in the fusion from e-mobility and the mountainbike? Do you want to discover new places of Southtyrol with the bike? If you are interested, we can contact our local bike rental and on the next day your E-bike is in front of the Johanneshof! For questions and reservation you can simply ask at reception by your arrival.
MTB-Parc, Antholz Niedertal
Want to improve your downhill-style, aspire the fresh mountain air and hear the silence of the woods of Antholz?
Try out the MTB-Park at Antholz Niedertal, near the little lake (3 minutes by car away from the Johanneshof). Both children and adults will enjoy the downhill tracks with different degrees of difficulty.
Downhill bike at the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz
This wasn´t enough for you? You search for another thrill? At the Kronplatz there is Downhill-Park, with trails with different lenght and difficolty. On the lift station are also rentals with the adequat equipment. If needed, we can organise you courses or a guide.
If you have everthing to go, than you can reach the top of the Kronplatz with the lift. In 2.275 m you can admire the surrounding mountain scenery, bevor you have to concetrate at one only thing... The way down!
